No longer children

September 29, 2015

Watching these beautiful animals grow into strong, regal animals has been amazing, and getting to photograph them as they develop and lose their puppy fur, as their ears go from floppy to upright and alert, as the nose extends and becomes regal, is a profound privilege.  Sadly the wolf sanctuary has not gone according to plan, and I will soon be saying goodbye to these wonderful and affectionate friends.  A part of my heart goes with them and I hope that one day in the future I will see them again, as the proud and strong creatures they are becoming.  Farewell beautiful friends. It has been an honour knowing you.
